Bennington Project Independence is a not-for-profit agency that provides cost-effective quality Adult Day Care and Day Health Rehabilitation Services for adults over age 18 facing the challenges associated with aging and/or disability.
BPI has highly trained staff selected for their dedication, compassion and commitment to the needs of older persons and younger adults with disabilities. Excellent staff to participant ratio for personalized attention.
Our professional staff include an Executive Director/Certified Activity Consultant, a Registered Nurse/Health Coordinator and Membership Coordinator/Licensed Practical Nurse, Social Worker/Family Support, Licensed Nursing Assistants, Activity Coordinator/Certified Activity Director, Activity Assistants, a Transportation Coordinator, Van Drivers, Students and Volunteers. Our nutrition program is ServSafe certified and has a Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional.
We also have a Physician Consultant, a Registered Dietician Consultant and access to Specialized Therapy Consultants as needed.
100% of BPI’s regular full and part time staff (including activities, healthcare, administrative, nutrition, facility and transportation staff) have completed the Alzheimer’s Disease Association approved dementia “CARES” training program and successfully passed the essentiALZ Plus Dementia Advanced Care certification exams.
